This IEL will consist in the fourth session of our GSDM Book Club, namely a regular gathering of GSDM students and faculty who, having agreed to read the same book, meet to discuss its main themes in the light of the GSDM goals. For this session, Benedict Anderson’s “Imagined Communities” has been chosen as the text participants will have to read. The IEL is opened by an explanation of the Book Club by GSDM Student Hee-Woon Lee, who kindly agreed introduce this session of the book club, then the particular book of the evening will be discussed by all participants. Finally, participants exchange their ideas and proposals about the book to read for the next meeting.
This IEL has been organised in the form of Book Club, in order to expand the intellectual horizon of GSDM students, by means of making them approach literary works and other books which can relate to the main topics of GSDM, particularly leadership, global affairs, inter-disciplinarity.
