Summary
This IEL will consist in the second session of our new GSDM Book Club, namely a regular gathering of GSDM students and faculty who, having agreed to read the same book, meet to discuss its main themes in the light of the GSDM goals. For this session, Peter Drucker’s book “The Essential Drucker” has been chosen as the text participants will have to read. The IEL is opened by an explanation of the Book Club by Professor Yarime, who kindly agreed to participate to this session of the book club, then the particular book of the evening will be summarised by one or more students, followed by a debate. Finally, participants exchange their ideas and proposals about the book to read for the next meeting.

Purpose
This IEL has been organised in the form of Book Club, in order to expand the intellectual horizon of GSDM students, by means of making them approach literary works and other books which can relate to the main topics of GSDM, particularly leadership, global affairs, inter-disciplinarity.
