The Inter-American Development Bank is the leading source of multilateral development finance for Latin America and the Caribbean that supports the sustainable development of the Latin American and Caribbean region and Japan is one of its major shareholders. It has its private-sector arm called Inter-American Investment Corporation. In order to promote the recruitment opportunities of Japanese nationals as well as to increase awareness of IDB Group activities, including its financial instruments, The University of Tokyo’s GSDM and the IDB Group are co-organizing a career seminar as follows.

| Speakers | : | Mrs. Rocio Palafox—Mrs. Palafox, a national of Mexico, has been IIC’s Chief Finance and Administration Officer since January 2016. Prior to joining IIC, Rocio was responsible for driving the growth of GE in Mexico, through growth initiatives, structured and financed energy and healthcare projects. Mr. Daniel Fuster—Mr. Fuster is the Chief of the Talent Management Division (HRD/TLM) of the Human Resources Department of the Inter-Development Bank since May 2016. |
