【Summary】
Ms. Chikako Matsumoto, formerly a World Bank Senior Financial Officer, will offer an inspiring discussion about “sustainably successful career planning.” In designing your career, if you focus only on which organization you want to work for, then you will surely be challenged at this event. Ms. Matsumoto will propose an alternative approach that applies managerial knowledge and skills to your career planning. She will discuss with you how to build a successful career as a professional that is sustainable throughout your life and in all its aspects.

To design your career to fulfill your life and your objectives as a Ph.D. holder Target audience: This session is for you, if you are currently seeking a job, you want to prepare yourself for a job at an international organization, or you are not yet certain what you want to do after the completion of GSDM.
  
【Agenda】

1. Introduction by Prof. Toshiro Nishizawa
2. Goals of this session by Ms. Matsumoto, including the agenda and ground rules
3. Discussion and the three key questions, facilitated by Ms. Matsumoto Question #1: Which organization do you want to work for and why? What does it mean for your life, both personal and professional? Question #2: How do you want to balance your personal life and your dream career as a professional? Question #3: How much success is enough for you? When and how do you know if you have achieved what you want to achieve? Ms. Matsumoto will explain why asking yourself these questions is important, drawing from her own experience and that of the people around her at the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank, including fun and sad real-life anecdotes.
