|Date||:||2016, 19th of February (Friday) 18pm-20pm|
|Venue||:||Eng.Bld.#8-536, Hongo Campus|
These days we frequently encounter the words “big data” and “artificial intelligence.” In this IEL, we will show you an example how we use text mining methods to analyze big data of texts. Also, we will show you how we can draw a quantitative evidence from qualitative information (i.e. text data). This part is a report on our Student Initiative Project (SIP).
In the latter part of the IEL, we will hold a workshop. The workshop is designed to let the diverse body of the GSDM students and non-GSDM students to interact each other. The goal of the workshop is to come up with good seeds of interdisciplinary hypotheses of future text mining research. The workshop is Innovators Marketplace on Data Jackets style, that Ohsawa laboratory invented.
